RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, which is also known as the Directive 2002/95/EC. 

It includes the restrictions for the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. RoHS is a WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
